51. Lately, my therapist seems intent on making my closeted-ness the root of all my problems, but I don't think it's that straightforward. Um. No pun intended.
52. I really like tapas, dim sum, and other forms of eating that involve a wide variety of little dishes. Yum.
53. Due to the influence of my girlfriend [eee! I said girlfriend! Eee!], I have a developing affection for glittery things.
54. I purchased my first-ever eyeshadow and eyeliner a few weeks ago.
55. Willow and Giles are my favorite Buffy characters. Favorite episodes include obvious choices such as "Hush" and "Restless," as well as... the one that I'm forgetting the title of in which Jenny Callendar's reason for being in Sunnydale is revealed. Perhaps my oddest favorite-episode choice is "Spiral" from Season 5 - but I'm a hurt/comfort slut, so that kind of makes sense.
56. I'm really irked that I can't remember in what lj I saw someone make a comment about 'the unexamined use of Christian symbols as vampire repellers in Buffy' because that bugs me too and I'd like to see someone with more Buffy-knowledge than I have address it. Probably if and when the person writes more on the subject it will be linked through

57. The foods that head up the short list of Things I Won't Eat Because They Taste Icky To Me are coconut and shrimp. This can make me a frustrating dish-sharing companion in Asian restaurants. Like the dim sum place I was at today. Except I was with R and L who are 1) very understanding about my dislikes and 2) able to share coconut shrimp stuff with each other
58. I can be very untidy.
59. In Girl Scouts, I learned one knit stitch, made cranberry relish, and was a dismal failure in the cookie-selling business.
60. I just finished the scarf I'm making for my mother for Christmas. It wouldn't hurt it to be blocked, but it's essentially complete. Yay!
61. At risk of revealing myself as an alien, I admit that I actually rather like Christmas shopping and present-making.
62. Of late, my biggest night for going out has been Tuesdays, when I go to watch Buffy with Ben and Melissa and their three lovely cats.
63. My cat, who I will retrieve from my parents' house when I have an abode better suited to him, is a seven-year-old domestic shorthair (aka 'feline mutt'), orange in color with tiger markings, named Caspian after the Narnian prince.
64. When my family acquired Caspian, my brother argued for naming him Guildenstern. In his previous home he had been called Leonardo.
65. This is not really about me, but it's my favorite pet-naming story... my best friend in elementary school had a series of fish named after characters from musicals. Arthur and Guinevere were the first pair. Arthur went belly up in a matter of days, and was replaced by a Siamese fighting fish named Chulalongkorn. Guinevere took a chunk out of his tail. After that, they were separated.
66. I have now watched the Buffy episode "The Body" twice in five days, and both times I've burst into tears at Anya's speech about death.
67. Except for Aldonza in Man of La Mancha, I have always coveted the male roles over the female roles in musicals. It seems to me that men get better songs than women, and the bad guys usually get better songs than the good guys.
68. I have hopes of going to Ireland in August. My friend R, travel deal-finder extraordinaire, is on the hunt, and I might find myself on the road with R, L, BF#3, L's brother B and R's sister C. Which might be interesting. But... Ireland!
69. I'm an inveterate lurker in fandomland, but I'm also a terrible rubbernecker at flamewars and meltdowns.
70. I work for/with a BNF in Harry Potter fandom.
71. I pump her weekly for the latest in Sugarquill and Fiction Alley gossip.
72. I rather enjoy going to a baseball game, but generally speaking I have no interest in watching or participating in any sport.
73. [very tiny voice] I'm not voting today and I know it's bad and I'm a terrible apathetic person but here I sit. [/tiny voice]
74. Opal is my birthstone, but of late amber has been my favorite precious or semiprecious stone.
75. I am, at the moment, very impatient for Eprime to reply to an email I sent her a few hours ago.
