MERLIN JUST COME OUT TO HER ALREADY. Unless you want everyone BURNED IN THEIR BEDS.
I wish I could remember the post in which someone described Gaius' treatment of Morgana as "Yellow-Wallpapering her," because that sums it up so well. And I don't understand why he does it because it's obviously not working.
I'm frustrated by the formatting choice to have a Humorous Coda of Arthur giving manly, misguided advice. It's difficult to appreciate after the smorgasboard of secrets and suffering. Poor Merlin (though, idiot! justtellher!) Poor Morgana!
I'm pondering the physics of magic in this universe. It seems that magic is really good at taking things apart, but totally pants at putting them back together. If Merlin could have gotten past the grate without blasting it, or had been able to put it back once he passed, that would have slowed down pursuit a lot, which would have helped a lot.
Finally, OMG SCORPIONS.
