If you're having trouble finding enough situations to watch with horrified fascination...
I would dub the Pay Me For Fanfic 'Cause I Wanna Be A Writer trainwreck the Wankiest Wank That Ever Did Wank, had the bizarre Victoria Bitter saga not utterly, and for all time, blown the bell curve on that sort of thing.
If you're looking for a nice lesbian romance film...
Skip Salmonberries. k d lang is awfully awfully cute, but otherwise, it's two hours of "what? and the... huh? why'd they... huh?"
Thank you, drive through.

I like Incredibly True Adventures of Two Girls In Love because it's cute and, well, linear.

I checked Incredibly True Adventures out of the public library sometime in the year I was living at home after college. Hid it under my bed and watched it when the rest of the family was out.
Really, it's amazing it took as long as it did for me to catch on to my lesbian-ness. :)

Never seen Salmonberries, but I don't recall having any problems with When Night Is Falling. Hooray for lesbians in circuses with Don McKellar.
I will grant you that Go Fish is weird.

I'm really enjoying the Wolfe Films site you linked to the other day. I'd noticed that both Salmonberries and the last film we'd watched (Goldfish Memory, which is like an Irish Love Actually with more gayness) had "also from Wolfe" in the "special features" section. Mystery solved. :D

- claimed to be the reincarnation of a hobbit and to be receiving messages in The Actual Hobbit-Language
- moved across country, faked her own death (not merely online but in the real world as well) and started going around as a guy named "Jordan Wood" who claimed to be 1) on the run from the IRA (the Irish one, not the financial thingy) 2) the illegitimate cousin of, or psychic other body of, Elijah Wood.
- scammed a huge number of people, including Sean Astin and some of the other actors, out of money and time with plans for LOTR events to benefit a bogus charity.
Saskia has it right, it really does go beyond wank into a realm of Really, Really Frightening Mental Illness.
