Sam Seaborn looks a lot like Wesley sometimes.

Oh yeah, when Sam has his glasses on he and Wesley could be twins separated at birth.

Is this your first time through West Wing? It and Buffy tie for my favorite TV shows of all time.

I watched most of the first season on tape in small, widely-separated bursts several years ago, and I've seen some other isolated episodes. So I have some grasp of the characters but not a lot of the arcs. I'm really enjoying s1 and looking forward to viewing it all properly. Yay, Netflix!

My favorite S1 episode, and possibly my favorite episode ever, is "Take This Sabbath Day." It's classic Sorkin - you have the tragic and the comic just perfectly balanced, and the way the issue is handled is really, really well done in my opinion. How far along are you?

*bounce* I saw that just the other night! And the one from which the picture above comes. I love it too. CJ's scene about "His mother's name is Sophia" is particularly deftly done.

The last episode I saw was "Twenty Hours In LA." Waiting on the next disc even now. :)

Okay, I have no idea why, but for some reason, my default Wesley was set to Crusher. And yet, it still made sense! ...until the glasses part. Then I reset my defaults. ;^)

It took quite a bit of Buffyverse exposure to make my default Wesley switch, I must confess.

Icon! ICON! Oh, that's awesome. It makes me SO happy.

Thanks. :^) There was a point where I realized I had no Trek icons, and, well, "kidnapped and surgically altered" was a catchphrase, wasn't it?

Oh, yes. :)
