I just found the essay that
breadandroses told me about on Thursday night. It was exactly what I needed to read this week.
Anne Lamott always makes me feel... not that I'm okay, exactly, or that It is going to be okay, but that I'm not alone. That I can be who I am, whoever the hell that is, and not be exiled from human society. That masks and denial and studied not-thinking are not the only way to get through.

(For anyone who hasn't done it, the watch-an-ad,get-a-pass thing is reasonably painless. I say go for it!)
