june: fired

June is, as other people have observed, being a month of extreme and aggravated suck. I wish it would knock it the hell off.

In pleasanter news, last night breadandroses and I introduced a friend to the Ninth Doctor. She approved. And it was excellent fun to watch "Rose" with someone totally and completely unspoiled, to the point that ( cut in extreme spoiler deference )
