1) What's on your bedside table? Books. More books. Box of tissues. Several plastic cups, some still holding water. Journal. Hair elastics.
2) What's the geekiest part of your music collection? Middlesex County Fife & Drum Corps. Or the sizeable collection of third-generation pirated filk.
3) What do you eat when you raid the fridge at night? ice cream, if I have any.
4) What is your secret guaranteed weeping film? Er. Hm. Jane Austen movies get me pretty well. Once I started crying just from watching a preview for Sense and Sensibility. But I was feeling rather fragile that day anyway.
5) If you could have plastic surgery, what would you have done? Ears. They stick out. I'd rather they didn't.
6) Do you have a completely irrational fear? Not now. GWB has seen to it that my intermittent nuclear-disaster panics are fairly well founded.
7) What is the little physical habit that gives away your insecure moments? I used to pick at my nails, but I've managed to greatly reduce that.
8) Do you ever have to beg? I refuse to. Or at least, I have thus far.

10) Do you know anyone famous? No... though my father is somewhat known in certain circles.
11) Describe your bed. Twin. Dark wood. Old. Wears a secondhand Laura Ashley quilt and matching... I think 'bolster' is the word I want... a pillow with a silk-screened likeness of Qui-Gon Jinn, and a rag doll that I've had since I was seven.

13) Who should play you in a movie about your life? Cate Blanchett. Not because I look like her (default picture to the contrary) but because she's chameleonic encough to play anyone.
