What I want for the end of Buffy

This song is exactly the mood I wish Buffy could end on. What they tried to do at the end of season 6 with Buffy and Dawn crawling out of the ground to Sarah McLaclan singing the prayer of St. Francis, but couldn't really do because it was too little too late.

I wish I could see Buffy and Willow and Xander and Giles walking off together into a clear sunny morning, looking out at the world and at each other and thinking 'This is so worth saving.' Happy in the sunshine. That's what I wish for. There's no way it's happening, but I can dream.

Something else I wish for and probably won't get is an ending like season 4 - big ol' action extravaganza in the penultimate episode, and then something quiet and much more mind-blowing afterwards.

Sigh. Oh well.
