The most excellent travel mug i have has a giant hook-like handle that rests over my hand, so i don't actually have to grip it in order to carry it. Recommended. But i still have had no conclusive luck in finding something non-drippy enough to be thrown in a backpack or a bike drink holder and forgotten about, so i just give up and make coffee at the office on workdays. The travel mug is pretty much reserved for actual out-of-town trips, for which it is of great value.

That does sound like an awesome mug. On the sealability issue, it seems that for true liquid-tightness one needs to go for a thermos.
